Wendy & Addison
January 2010

Hi guys! I voted for Best of today and will every day. Addison got groomed last weekend and he looks so handsome! He misses you all very much. You should see him - he’s super skinny. Things are ok here. I’m ready to come home but I’m glad I have a job. I was happy to see that Addison still had his picture on the web site - I was going to be so sad if he didn’t.

Big Addison
Hugs to all of you.

Heather & Bella
January 2010

I have always known Fido’s to be a great place for my dog, Bella, to go to play with her friends. Today, however, I realized just how kind-hearted and talented Brenda and Janice truly are. I’m fostering a little poodle-mix who just had five puppies and was a matted mess! I called Brenda who answered all of my questions and helped me to figure out what grooming Molly would need. She rearranged her schedule to make sure Molly would be back to her puppies within two hours, and all the while she was so supportive when I talked about finding Molly a good home. I brought Molly to Fido’s today just to see
if Janice could clean her up a bit and got Molly back in perfect condition! Not only did Janice remove all the painful matts, but she gave Molly the works and returned her to me looking brand new! This little dog who was found wandering the streets now has confidence and her tail never stops wagging! Janice was patient and calm when Molly was nervous. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for this little girl! When I think of Fido’s now, it is not just a great busines that helps my dog stay in shape and have fun, I now realize just how much the staff at Fido’s cares about all animals, whether they are long-time customers or just pets who need a little help!

Diane & Jetta
December 2009

I am so thankful that I found Fido’s! About a year ago I rescued a puppy that had a rough start in life and had not been treated kindly. Because of this suffers from fear issues (people, especially men and some dogs). In an effort to help her get over these fears I contacted Fido’s in hopes that interacting with the staff and other campers would build her confidence. Our first visit for the temperment evaluation did not go well, but Brenda and the staff would not give up and worked slowly (baby steps) for many weeks until Jetta had the confidence to join the pack. We still have a ways to go, but Brenda, Neil and the staff are so patient, understanding and helpful that I know we will succeed. They are Best in Show in my book!

Wendy & Addison
December 2009

Hi Bren and gang. Addison started college (that’s what I call the Howl a dayz inn since we’re in a college town) He rides with me from Wichita and I drop him off and pick him up. It’s nice to have the company. They have a web cam so you can see your favorite Doodle. He tries to check in but there’s no bell :-( I think he misses his ice cream the most. He’s getting
groomed on Monday and I’m a little nervous. He’s getting another Christmas picture taken on Sat - we’ll forward. It’s funny - I don’t miss Phoenix as much as I miss Fido’s - but I do miss PHX - it’s 28 degrees. Addison is getting boots this weekend. We were walking last night and got attacked by a Mastive. I had my dog spray with me - it came at us and Addison was ready for a fight - so I got it to back off. It’s name was Wrigley - Wrigley can’t attack Addison. Mom will be in PHX the end of January. I think she’ll bring Chuck so you’ll get to see him. We’re sending you a little Holiday Present for your tree. Hope all is well. Addison and Wendy xxxxx

Wendy & Addison
November 2009

I miss you guys! There’s no place like Fidos and I miss my Ice Cream!
Love, Addison (AJ) Ward

Heather, Troy and Sienna
October 2009

Thank you for making Sienna’s first day at Fido’s so much fun for her. She was SO tired when she got home, she really played hard with the big boys! It was also so nice to read her “Camper Card” and get to see that she was up to all day and who her favorite friends were. Thank you and Sienna will be back soon!

Sarah and Stewie
July 2009

Thank you for making Stewie’s 1st birthday so special you all are so wonderful. I am glad everyone liked the treats, including the staff. There is no place for dogs that would celebrate their birthdays like you all.

Matt & Trajan
June 2009

Fido’s Funhouse is my puppy’s favorite place in the world! Trajan (“Tray”) gets to play all day and is dead tired when I pick him up. He has made some great friends and has socialized with a varity of breeds, which is especially important for large breed dogs. The staff makes all the difference. All of them truly care about their doggy clients. In the past, I’ve tried most other facilities and Fido’s Funhouse is by far the absolute best!

Chris
June 2009

We have three dogs that go to Fido’s Funhouse. When we turn onto Bell, our shephard starts to whine. She knows her fun-time is near. The dogs love the attention and the treats. I feel very comfortable leaving them at Fido’s. All the dogs love playing with the other dogs. When they come home, they are played out. I highly recommend Fido’s for all your dog needs.

Heather, Brian, and Bella
June 2009

Every Thursday morning Bella wakes us up extra early because she is so excited to go to Fido’s. When she was a puppy, Bella was very shy and nervous with new people. She has been going to Fido’s for a year now, and her people-skills have improved tremendously! She loves playing with the other dogs, and her favorite people in the world would be the friendly camp counselors! Thank you to everyone at Fido’s for taking great care of our baby!

Shane and Stella and Bodhi
May 2009

Fido’s Funhouse is rated the best for a reason. I bring my two pugs (Stella and Bodhi) to Fido’s for grooming and sleepovers while my wife and I travel. Fido’s has a great staff and the dogs get a lot of TLC. I can’t say enough about it. I have to say that one of the most impressive things is the attention to detail when it comes to the health of the animals. They ensure that all of the animals are up to date on their shots before their stay, which is a very good thing for eveyone. Nice job to everyone at Fido’s!!!

Wendy and Addison
May 2009

Congratulations Brenda, Neil, Janice and all of the Fido’s Funhouse team. You really are the best – Addison has known it since the start. We’re so happy for you! I couldn’t do my job without you guys – having some place so special to leave Addison makes it so much easier. Thank you!

Sarah and Stewie
May 2009

Stewie has been going to spend the day with Brenda, Neil, his favorite camp counselor Dani, and his doggie friends for a while now and he can not wait to go. I can’t even leave for work or say “lets go” out loud without him running to his leash and trying to take it off the hook. I had to leave Stewie over night for the first time a few weeks ago and I felt like I was
checking Stewie into a hotel. Brenda took his bags and bed, made inventory of everything we brought and made detailed instructions on his feeding schedule and amount and his medication times and amounts. We feel so blessed to have all of
you and we know Stewie adores you. Thank you!

Janet and Maggie
May 2009

My dog Maggie loves Fido’s and she is so tuckered out when she comes home. Now that summer is here she will be able to get her energy level taken care of without being out in the hot sun... thank you to all the staff at Fido’s for taking such good care of My Maggie.

Bonnie and Tootsie
April 2009

I just want to let you guys know how much we love Fido’s day care and boarding system. It is a pleasure to leave Tootsie with you, knowing she would have a good time! I don’t have to feel guilty about having fun myself. See you next January.

Brooke and Clemson
April 2009

Hi Brenda, Neil, and Staff! Thank you so much for taking the picture of Clemson with the Easter Bunny ears... she looks adorable. I have shared the picture with all of my family and friends and they love it. Clemson loves coming to play and she has really enjoyed getting to know her friends there. Thank you for taking great care of her and I hope you all have a Happy Easter!

Rosa & Puppy Scout
April 2009

I would just like to say thank you so much to Fido’s Funhouse. We are from CA and were visiting AZ and needed to find a place for our puppy. I had looked at five places and couldn’t find what I was looking for, a place where our playful pup would be free to play and not be locked in a kennel all day. And we found it with Fido’s Funhouse. Scout really seemed to enjoy his stay there. We are so happy knowing the next time we are in AZ Scout has a place to stay and play all day with some new friends.

Curby McPhee
March 2009

Hi - my name is Curby McPhee. I have been going to Fido’s Funhouse from the day they opened! My Mom calls it school and I didn’t want to go to school and I never thought I would love being away from my Mom, but I do, I really do! Of course I can’t wait to see her and tell her about my day, because I have the best days, have made the best friends and everyone really loves me at Fido’s. If you are up for a cool, clean and fun place to play all day and make new friends, you should come to our school, it’s the BEST! Woof Woof

Mindy & Josie
March 2009

Our Josie just loves, loves, loves Fido’s! We’ve been bringing her to day camp for several months now and she just can’t get enough. Last weekend was her first overnight stay and she came home so happy and exhausted. We can’t thank Brenda and the staff at Fido’s enough for everything they do! The facility is spotless, the staff is always professional and the customer service is incredible. I was most impressed with how they handled an emergency situation where they had to evacuate all of the dogs when the fire department came. Brenda had an evacuation plan, got all of the dogs out safely and refused to leave the dogs behind even when the fire department said she had to. Way to go! I have recommended Fido’s Funhouse to everyone I know who cares as much about their dogs as I do mine! Thank you Fido’s!

Darnell and Princess Daisy
March 2009

My Princess Daisy says Fido’s is the best place ever!!! The staff is excellent in the care they give my Daisy and she looks forward to the days she gets to come and play with the staff and her doggie friends. You’re the best and we love the way you give above and beyond in your excellent care and support to Daisy and her mom. Thanks again for being such a wonderful company. Keep up the good work!!!

Marueen, Talia, Joepa and Riley
March 2009

Joepa and Riley love to spend time with their new friends at Fido’s. They come home happy and exhausted! The staff at Fido’s is so caring and friendly, we all look forward to Camp Days!!!

Sarah, Mike and Stewie
February 2009

Stewie LOVES Fido’s Funhouse. When he is away from his friends at Fido’s for too many days he gets sad and lies around the house pouting. Stewie is my baby and I am so happy to have a place he can stay for the day where he is safe and well looked after while I am at work or busy. Stewie needed eye medication for a while and the staff at Fido’s always put the eye drops in and followed all the directions and took wonderful care of him. The staff knows all of the dogs names and treats them as if they were their own dogs. Thank you to every one at Fido’s Funhouse for taking care of our Stewie!!!

Peggi and Riley
February 2009

Riley loves his time at Fido’s! I was watching the Channel 3 interview with Brenda this morning and Riley heard Brenda’s voice and came over to me with his tail wagging. He stood there the whole time to hear Brenda speak. I’m sure he was expecting her to do a beagle howl but he’ll work on that with her. Brenda, you did a great job on TV!!!

Brigid, Mike & Poco
December 2008

Poco absolutely loves his days at Fido’s. He is so happy to go each time and has a blast! This place is the best place ever for animals. Brenda and the gang are excellent with dogs and I’m so happy to have found the Funhouse! This is a must for anyone wanting to socialize their dog(s). Thanks all!

Chuck, Corrine & Dakota
December 2008

Hey Fido’s Gang! It’s Chuck, Dakota’s dad. I just wanted to send you a quick email about a funny Dakota story. We just got our phone line set up in our new house in South Bend and today I was clearing out the old messages on the answering machine. Well, there were 2 messages from Brenda on the machine and when Dakota heard her voice he ran over to me and jumped on my lap and almost attacked the phone... he was pawing at it and licking it! :) He totally remembered Brenda’s voice... it cracked me up and totally made me miss you all! I hope everything is going well in Phoenix... we’re doing well in Indiana, but we haven’t found anything close to the awesome facility and people that you have there at the Funhouse... I hope your customers realize how lucky they are. :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you have a great upcoming Holiday season. We’ll make sure to follow up again soon with some more pictures and stories.

Diana & Piper
November 2008

Piper loves to go to Fido’s day camp, and I feel good that she’s not bored at home all day! She has fun playing with big and small dogs, the camp coaches, and the climbing toys. The staff at Fido’s is super-friendly and I feel my baby is in good hands when I drop her off at Fido’s, that she will be safe, loved, and have a great time!

Sheri, Don, Jack & Molly
September 2008

We have posted here before about how happy we are with Fido’s. A few months ago we moved to Tucson, but whenever we travel (which is often) we make our flight arrangements out of Phoenix just so that we can bring our dogs Jack and Molly to Fido’s. We know our dogs love their time at Fido’s and we do not worry about our dogs when we are away. The peace of mind we get knowing that our dogs are happy, having fun, safe and loved is priceless to us and more than worth the drive from Tucson! Thank you Brenda, Neil and everyone at Fido’s for all that you do to provide kindness, fun and an invaluable service!!

Kristy & Bean
September 2008

Fido’s Funhouse is the greatest!! My puppy, Bean, has been a day camper andan overnight camper. He is in the puppy training class too. Everything has been wonderful. I would recommend Fido’s to anyone who wants to leave their pet in a great environment. The staff and facility is perfect, he loves it at Fido’s!

Vanessa & Manny
September 2008

Manny, my rambunctious Maltese is a regular on Thursdays at Fido’s Funhouse. He is so anxious with anticipation when he walks through the door. The first few visits Manny had trouble socializing. Now a couple months later he is confident and most importantly happy to have friends like Muchkin and Cooper to play with. I am delighted to take Manny to Fido’s because I know he is in good hands.

Lisa, Dennis & Sari
August 2008

Fido’s is the best! Our puppy, Sari, loves camp and we wouldn’t be able to keep her without it. She is an active puppy who needs lots of play time and affection. Every time we pull into the parking lot she gets excited. Thanks to Fido’s staff for making our dog a part of your extended family!

Helane and Lucy
August 2008

Lucy is my “granddaughter" and I thank you for allowing her to enjoy herself, and making the wonderful “life long friends“ she has. She loves being with all her new and old fellow campers!

Tabitha and Keva
July 2008

Our four month old puppy, Keva, LOVED her first day at Fido’s Funhouse. I could tell the minute I saw her that she was happy. She came home and devoured her food, which is unusual for her. After that, she plopped down and slept for hours. She didn’t have that devilish look in her eye from being bored all day. I was also happy to find no problems with housetraining at all. This was a 100% positive experience and we will bring her back soon!

Ken & Shaunna
July 2008

Our dog Cooper just finished an eleven-day stay at “Camp”, the facility and care he recieved was beyond our expectations. When we began to look for boarding options we were less than impressed with the offerings in the Phoenix area, facilities were dirty, not professional, unstaffed during the evening hours, and not well educated on canine behaviours. Being former police officers we tend to look a little deeper and notice things that bother us. Then we found Fido’s, the staff was educated, friendly and professional, the facility is nicer than some of the lodging that we have stayed at, very clean and well thought out. Cooper is a 135 pound French Mastiff, I am very glad that they perform a two hour tempermant evaluation to ensure that all of the dogs being boarded are non-aggressive. Between the facility and staff, the decision was quite easy to make, Cooper’s new second home will always be Fido’s. Thank you all for allowing us peace of mind, we can go on vacation and actually enjoy it without worrying about our dog.

Carolyn & Gracie
June 2008

As a first time dog-mom I was beside myself thinking about leaving Gracie for six days when I had to make a trip to Canada. Well, I shouldn’t have been, because she barely waved goodbye when I dropped her at Fido’s Funhouse. She loves it there! We live in the neighborhood and I am pulled toward Fido’s front door whenever we go for an evening walk. I was also concerned she might forget her potty-training and again, no worries and no accidents since she’s been back home. I’d recommend Fido’s to anyone who loves their dog and wants them to have a fun day! Thanks to everyone there.

Peggi & Riley
June 2008

Riley, our amazing high jumping beagle-boy is a regular on Wednesdays at Fido’s Funhouse. He gets so excited when he hears the word “Camp” that he starts jumping around looking for his leash. The interaction with the staff and all his doggy friends has been so good for his socialization that we can’t imagine life without Fido’s Funhouse now. I must admit that we are equally excited about camp days because Riley comes home very tired so it’s like having a night off from his zoomies. Fido’s Funhouse is the BEST!

Phil & Abbey
May 2008

We have been taking our Lab, Abbey, to Fido’s for a few months now and could not be happier! Brenda is always there to greet us and make us feel welcome, as well as Rob, Greg, and Monica. Abbey gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot, she knows its going to be another fun day with her dog friends! It has really helped her get socialized, as she was somewhat shy when we first got her. The best part is she is so exhausted at the end of the day when we take her home, we usually don’t even take her for her walk. She especially likes the frozen treats at the end of the day and knows to walk over to the fridge to be sure I don’t forget! We feel very fortunate to have such a caring place to take her to.

Elizabeth & Nikki
May 2008

My name is Nikki and I’m a canine “Tweener”. At 25 pounds, I’m “in-between” size. BF (Before Fido’s), I was a bit scared of the big kids. AF (After Fido’s), my confidence has blossomed. Now, I mostly hang out with the big kids! Also, BF I thought male humanoids were rather scary. To my delight, the male humanoids at Fido’s are just as cool as female humanoids! Fido’s is all about fun from my perspective. However, my mom thinks “The Fido Influence” is molding me into a fine young lady.

Kerrie & Mark
May 2008

Our “boy” Gus just loves the time he spends at Fido’s Fun House on Tuesdays and Thursdays! He has made lots of friends and comes home exhausted every day, which has been just great! Mark and I are thrilled to have such a remarkable place like Fido’s to take Gus for daycare. Brenda and her entire staff are truly amazing! Gus used to experience a little separation anxiety when I would drop him off in the morning. Brenda and I have worked together to make Gus’s “drop off” time go much more smoothly. I am so appreciative of her great ideas and willingness to help solve what used to be a stressful time to a much more pleasant experience for both Gus and ME. A world of thanks to Brenda and her amazing staff. Gus, Mark, and I couldn’t be happier!

Travis & Ashley
May 2008

Our dog, Corona, has been coming to Fido’s for about four months and he is so happy. He no longer suffers from separation anxiety and looks forward to Thursdays at Fido’s. Corona also goes to Janice for grooming and no longer hates to get his hair cut… now he prances out of the salon. Thank you, Brenda and the entire staff for all your help with Corona and for how wonderful you have all made Fido’s Funhouse!!

Emma & Tess
April 2008

For those who don’t know us, we are two 4-year old Siberian Husky sisters who play at Fido’s Funhouse every Tuesday. We love it and all of our friends there (especially our boyfriend Gus <g>). Our parents actually first took us to the playroom at a big pet store. That room was about 1/3 the size of our play area at Fido’s and it often got so crowded with dogs that we hardly had any place to run and play the way we really like to. We then played at a local daycamp for two years and sort of liked it; but not as much as we LOVE Fido’s (and Gus, of course). We hope that our pack member - owners will let us play at Fido’s Funhouse for a very long time.

Rachel & Mya
April 2008

My dog Mya loves going to camp at Fido’s Funhouse. All I have to say is “Fido’s Today!” and she runs to the car all smiles. I love that there is a place were I can trust to not just take good care of my dog but show her that she is loved and she can have fun. She loves it and I won’t take my dog anywhere else! Thank you Fido’s for giving me the peace of mind knowing that Mya is loved and taken care of! :)

Cat Daza-Obregon
April 2008

Bear loves going to Day care on Wednesdays... he follows me while I get ready to make sure I don’t forget him home... it amazes me that he knows when it is his daycare day! Sometimes when I go to pick him up, he does not want to leave yet! He sure loves it and I love that he is happy!

Sheri & Don
April 2008

We are so happy that we found Fido’s Funhouse!! We hav e taken our older dog to kennels before and he would shake and try to run away. That indicated to us that he was not happy there.Well, at Fido’s it is a different story... when we walk in the door he is so excited and happy and CAN’T get to the playroom door fast enough. Knowing that our pets are happy, having fun, safe, cared for and loved each time they are at Fido’s, makes all the difference in the world to us!

We are so glad that the dogs get to play with one another the entire day and are not confined to kennels and only let out to play for an hour like other day camps. This has become our dogs new home away from home. Everyone at Fido’s is special and educated about the different breeds and we are so thankful that there is such a place for our pets. We drive 45 minutes to one hour each direction just to bring them to Fidos. That is how happy we am with Fido’s!

John & Noreen, Cappi, Megan, Ghia and Bandito Perrito
March 2008

Wow! Fido’s Funhouse is a dog (and dog owner’s) dream come true! We always hated having to drop our dogs off at the kennel. But one tour through Fido’s Funhouse and we could immediately tell that this was something different... and something special. Your staff is friendly and knowledgable, the facility is top-notch and clean (one thing that really impressed us was that it didn't smell like a kennel!), and all the dogs love coming to Fido’s Funhouse. It really is like camp. It's social, and active, and the dogs get so much out of it. They aren't just sitting in a 4x4 cage. The play areas are fantastic!

Fido’s Funhouse is amazing and we can't tell enough of our friends about it. We hope to see you succeed and branch out in the coming years. No other place provides this level of owner comfort and security knowing that our furry friends are in the best possible hands and having fun while we're away. Thank you so much Brenda and Neil and staff! We love it!

JaCoi & Angel
March 2008

We are so happy that we’ve found Fido’s Funhouse. We, too, were feeling guilty about leaving our Buttercup at home alone with no one to socialize with. When we went on our first tour of the facility, we were immediately in love with it. Brenda was willing to show us the entire facility with no hesitations. It is obvious that from the time we walked into the facility that it was clean, sanitary, neat, and the PERFECT place for our Buttercup! We love the fact that our baby is not caged in all day. Instead she is having fun making new friends. Another wonderful thing about Fido’s Funhouse is that the staff is active with our baby and being attentive to her. We love the fact that agressive behavior is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. We appreciate the fact that every dog must engage in a temperament evaluation before being accepted as a day camper.

On some weekends, we’re busy with our own photography business and can’t give Buttercup the attention that she needs, so we’ll have her stay overnight. It is amazing at how dedicated Brenda and her staff is because they will stay overnight with the boarded dogs to ensure they’re safe, fed, and taken care of. Our lives have been improved because our baby is happy at Fido’s Funhouse. She comes home exhausted everytime, but we’re okay with that because we know that she’s loved just as much at Fido’s as she is at home with us.

We HIGHLY recommend Fido’s Funhouse to anyone with a non-agressive dog that feels guilty about leaving their pet at home unattended. Brenda and Neil you’ve done a wonderful job and we support you guys 100%. We tip our hats off to the staff as well. They work so hard to make sure the dogs are having a wonderful time.

We will continue to bring our Buttercup to Fido’s Funhouse.

Steve & Patti
March 2008

We’re excited about the habitat that Brenda and Neil have created for dogs. The place is fantastic! From the reception area/boutique all the way though the clean and comfortable kennel area, from the grooming personnel to the large, climate-controlled and constantly-staffed living/play area for the dogs.

Dogs are only kenneled through the night (under the watch and care of in-house/round-the-clock, trained caregivers). The rest of the time they spend in a common area with rest of the residents; indoors, air-conditioned, rubberized floor, continuously monitored by experienced personnel. They mingle and play with the rest of the “pack” that Fido’s has created for them. It’s a resort for dogs! It’s the next-best thing to having our own, live-in dog watchers while we’re away.

Good luck Brenda and Neil!

Wendy & Addison
March 2008

Addison is a very active and social Australian Labradoodle. He had attended day care in Indiana before we moved back to Arizona. I was so worried I couldn’t find a day care where he was loved as much as he was loved at his previous day care - not only did I find one but it’s been the best thing that’s happened to us! Addison loves the social interaction, is able to run and is attached to Rob and all of his human friends. I travel a great deal for work and overnight boarding is great. I feel very secure knowing that the dogs are never left alone. Fido’s is spotless, the dogs have fun (but have to behave) and I love having the grooming available right there (Janice is awesome). I can’t say enough good things about Fido’s - and if Addison could talk he would tell you the same!

Amy & Lola
March 2008

Okay, I can’t wait to bring in my Lola for a day at the Camp! I was looking for something like this for her during the day sometimes and this is just perfect!

Mike & Carolyne
(and the Doodles)
March 2008

Ceasar Milan was right when he said the key to a happy dog is exercise, discipline and affection - in that order. Fido’s Funhouse understands and delivers this and more in a clean, top-knotch facility run by a caring and knowledgable staff. The confidence we have that our “kids” are properly cared for, socialized and loved makes Fido’s the only choice for us.

Our collars off to Brenda and Neil for the thought and attention put into their facility. It is one of a kind and worth every penny.
